  How and why does it work?
In the United States alone a vehicle is stolen every 20 seconds. That’s over 1 million vehicles every year. Most are never recovered. The ones that are recovered usually have thousands of dollars in repairs. And if you have a deductible, you’ll have to pay to get it repaired. Etching is probably one of the best ways to make your car safe from professional thieves.
They are not after the vehicle, they are after the money the vehicles brings them after they sell it. Etching places a special identification code on every window on your vehicle. This makes the vehicle traceable by police, so the thieves cannot sell it, because no one will risk buying it.
With the Special I.D & Toll Free number etched on all your windows, anyone can call and report the vehicle stolen. Since changing all of the glass is too costly, the thieves will go to another vehicle.

  Gap Protection Program

 

Gap is a unique coverage program that protects you from financial disaster in case your vehicle is stolen, or totaled. Here’s why: as your vehicle gets older, the actual cash value (ACV) declines, while your lease or loan balance may remain higher than what the insurance company will pay you. You are then liable for the difference between what the insurance company pays you and what you owe.
Many people do not realize that they are responsible for that balance owed on the vehicle. GAP covers the difference between your loan or lease balance and your insurance settlement. In other words, if your insurance does not cover the cost of the totaled or stolen vehicle

TRANSFERABILITY BENEFITS

When presenting Transferability Benefits, be sure to remind your retail customers that having a With a Vehicle Service Agreement  if you ever decide to sell your vehicle it would make your vehicle easier to sell.

 
TOWING BENEFITS

Towing is available if your customer's vehicle is inoperable due to the mechanical failure of a covered component. Licensed professional towing agencies' or auto dealers' receipts are required for reimbursement.

When presenting Towing Benefits to your customer, be sure to include the following points:
24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Towing services are available anytime so your customer will never be stranded
Any Towing Company Accepted

Your customers can be comfortable with a towing company they know and trust, as well as one that is convenient for them
No need to pay extra towing charges to get to a Toyota dealership

If an alternate repair facility is only 10 miles away from your customer’s breakdown and the closest Toyota dealership is 20 miles away, TFS will pay to tow your customer’s vehicle to the Toyota dealership

 

 

TRAVEL PROTECTION,LODGING AND MEALS BENEFITS

Available if vehicle is inoperable more than 150 miles from home due to the mechanical failure of a covered component. Valid receipts are required for reimbursement.

Substitute Transportation is available if your customer’s vehicle is inoperable due to the mechanical failure of a covered component. Valid rental receipts are required.

Any form of substitute transportation is acceptable

You have the option of using whatever mode of transportation (rental, taxi, public transportation) that makes them feel most comfortable.

Reimbursement is easy

You don’t have to hassle with a complicated, stressful reimbursement process that keeps their money on hold for an undetermined length of time.

There’s a reason we call this Toyota Auto Care (TAC) Prepaid Maintenance program Classic. Terms of one to four years are available and you can pick up Classic coverage for any Toyota vehicle, new or used, at your Toyota dealer. Timely service from Toyota technicians
At the recommended service interval specific to your Toyota, your oil and filter will be changed, in addition to a 19-point inspection. Oil and filter changes will be made every 5,000 miles for conventional oil vehicles and 10,000 miles for synthetic oil vehicles, based on the recommendations in your vehicle’s Scheduled Maintenance Guide.**

TAC Classic coverage also provides 24-hour roadside assistance benefits that utilize approximately 40,000 towing vehicles nationwide so you’ll get the prompt service you need when and where you need it. This benefit includes:***

At the prescribed Toyota service interval for your vehicle, your oil and filter will be changed in addition to a tire rotation and a 19-point inspection. Your major maintenance will occur at 15,000-mile, 30,000-mile, or 45,000-mile intervals, depending on your plan.
