Though technically a compact SUV, the RAV4 delivers comfortable seating for five and lots of cargo room. It is available in four trim levels--LE, XLE, Limited, and Platinum. Standard equipment includes features such as automatic headlights, 60/40-split folding rear seats, Bluetooth phone and streaming audio, a rearview camera, and an Entune 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Toyota Safety Sense, a suite of safety and driver assistance features is also standard. These technologies include forward collision warning and mitigation, automatic high beams, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. You'll have to pay extra for similar equipment on competing models.
Climbing the trim tree, the XLE trims adds premium features such as alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 4.2-inch driver information display, and a smartphone-based navigation system. Opt for the Limited or Platinum trims to enjoy an upgraded 7-inch Entune system with mobile apps, integrated navigation, and real-time traffic and weather; hands-free power liftgate, and keyless entry and remote ignition. These trims also offer more driver assistance features such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
